I suffer with epilepsy, hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia along with other conditions. I have had considerable amounts of absence tho majority is with a GP certificate. I had a severe Epileptic seizure causing me to hallucinate where I had to be taken into hospital. My HR have me on absence review and now that I have revoked the number of days I am allowed this month even though I was certified, I now face another formal review meeting to discuss the possibility of dismissal. Is it legal to dismiss people with disabilities. Here they have to do their best to find a person jobs that are more suited to the workplace and the employee or medical retirement if its impossible. I do work for the government so they do have strict laws and they cant just throw people out people I also work for health but although I can be sent to any department if thing go wrong health is who I talk too. Private I think are different. I'm in a similar situation now and I had signed the medical retirement but they were breaking the policy and if I had left and realised that they did this I could of sued their ass off
