A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

It’s hard for me to get around places especially in California where it is required to have a car & having ur license taken away alwys cause u had a seizure & then having to wait a whole year seizure free before driving I guess I want to ask is there anyway to ask a judge or to go to the capital of Sacramento that they not suspend the license?

You can ask a judge in Sacramento, but the answer is going to be we have to hear from your neurologist and receive a letter that you have been seizure free for a year. Until you can pass that hurdle, i doubt it. In the meantime adapt with it and apply with disability transportation. Or choose between Uber or Lyft.
