Has Anyone Ever Been Told, "You Have Seizures Because You Take On Other Peoples Stress"?

Welp, my psychiatrist told me that I think too much and i take on other peoples stress. If this is your case, how did you stop from doing so?

Stress is a main factor for a lot of us, but sometimes people forget what we have is not a psycological illness, it is an organic disorder. Also, seizures can change our emotional and psycological states.

I've always been very sensitive and worry about myself and worry and care much for others and yes I can over do that and that can trigger seizures, but also when my seizures are under better control I don't tend to worry as much in general. It's the chicken or egg thing. Maybe I'm a nut, or does anyone else understand and can explain better.

I wish you a wonderfull seizure free day, you're probably a caring person.

I don't stress too much but ,yes I do take on the stress of others I have to keep reminding myself my kids are in their 30's & are quite good at sorting things out themselves.I wouldn't say they were triggered by stress in my caseMow I've been retired 3 years & they're still just as annoying as ever

Yes, I totally agree with you. Everytime someone calls me with their stress, Im told that I make it my own. On top of that, Im told I care too much about what other think of me and Im trying so hard to control that, like indefinitely.

Stress is my main trigger. Believe me no matter where I go people in my life cause me stress, along with other things. I'm definitely pointing my finger at the people in my life. Whether they can help it or not. I say most of them could control it if they really wanted to.
