Want to talk to someone who has had this done or if they have any information about it! Any response is appreciated!
i googled it and this is what i found... 'Laser interstitial thermal therapy (LiTT) is a minimally invasive surgery for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy, which involves seizures that don't respond to medication. ... The treatment uses heat to target and ablate (remove) the region where the seizures begin.' if i am hearing it right... you have to get all other seizure meds and got every diets to even qualified.
I'm unable to contribute to the conversation as I haven't had this done..or ever even heard of it before. I just wanted to let you know we are all here for you. ((Hugs)) good luck and keep us posted..maybe your experience will help someone else.
Thank you for the response! I am in the process of the test to see if I will be a candidate. I am trying to find someone to talk to that has had the procedure done already or knows someone who has. Reading all the stuff online can go up & down. I am hoping someone in this group would have had it done.
