Dry Mouth
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

What can I do for dry mouth? So many of these medications cause dry mouth and tooth decay. Does anyone have any solutions?

I know how you feel @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. I don’t and won’t smoke , but I am on 5 different AED meds. Yet my bad breath makes me feel like one.

Thank you so much. I don’t smoke. I brush, floss and use mouthwash. I always feel like my breath is awful.

Brush teeth , mouthwash and gum.

These are just Temporary solutions. There really isn’t much that can help.

I don’t smoke cigarettes, yet my breath smells like a smokers breath. I do one or all of the three things I mentioned above

When brushing your teeth brush your tongue. There’s a mouth rinse for dry mouth called Biotein. Forgive me if I spelled it wrong but it’s spelled something like that. That’s what the receptionist at my dentist office recommended & It’s worked pretty well for me. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky
