How does everyone deal with living day by day emotions knowing that seizures can come at any moment , just trying to overcome my fears and live my life like I used to without having to be embarrassed.

Living with Epilepsy isn’t easy to accept right away. One thing we need to do is understanding our own type of Epilepsy and seizures . Do you know the sings when your going to have one or not.

The next thing , is find alternative ways to do things. For example, if you need or want to go somewhere, you could try and walk, bike, when families or friends can drive you, city transportations, and even check with the county if they have a volunteer transportation program.

Another thing is learning to tolerate and cope with our Epilepsy. . Get over the Denial ( if recently diagnosed ) . Try reducing our depression to epilepsy and try thinking positive . Try and tolerate the people who don’t understand Epilepsy , whether it’s family, friends, or strangers in the public .

Trying to cope with everything at once is impossible. Start with the easy things first then work with the harder later . .

Hope some of this helped

Don't think about the seizures the more you stress and get emotional about it them more they will happen. Enjoy every moment without them.

i go one day at a time. and be aware of your surroundings. i know you dont wanna hear it but there is a a thought in your memories that said 'what if i have a seizure over here or here'. just deep breath and push on. and embrace the seizures that you have. i said 'we all have something. some hide it well than others.' the seizures or ms or anything noticeable are not hiding it well. i also am a health nut and take vitamins and oils to counteract the meds.
