I have only been diagnosed for two months and am really finding it hard to stop my worrying and just would like to know if anyone has any advice about how they began to accept their diagnoses? Thank you

Talk to your Neurologist about support groups in your area some hospitals offer support services. That's a great place to start that's what I did when I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. It really helped me to talk to other people that we're dealing with the same things I was.Once you learn more about Epilepsy it's not all that bad.I was diagnosed with it 8 years ago and at first I was like you I had a hard time to stop worrying. The more you learn about it will really help you to stop worrying so much it does get better it just takes time.

I was diagnosed 12 years ago. It was pretty hard for me but it did take me about 2-3 years to believe this will be okay. I had alot of thought pros and cons. When i'd start to get upset and worry i would start counting my blessings that I do have and it would help me out. Sometimes it was best to read, write my thoughts, or listen to music to zone out in.
