Does Anybody Know What It’s Like If You Seem To Keep Hearing The Same Phrases Or Questions?

What’s odd is, it seems like it’s some kind of seizure, but I actually haven’t had a single one all day. So I’m wondering if the food I had affected something.

Taito2000, it may relate to deja vu and its relationship with epilepsy.

There is a strong and consistent link between déjà vu, or "already seen", and the seizures that occur in people with medial temporal lobe epilepsy (type of epilepsy that affects the brain's hippocampus). The hippocampus plays a key role in managing short- and long-term memories. People with medial temporal lobe epilepsy "consistently experience déjà vu at the onset of their seizures.

Jamais vu, or "never seen," occurs when a person experiences something familiar — like their own living room — but feels that they've never been there before.

Déjà entendu ("already heard") occurs when someone is certain they've heard something before, like a snippet of conversation or a musical phrase, but cannot recall the precise time or place.

It has been proposed that déjà vu, like an epileptic seizure, may be the result of a neural misfiring, during which neurons in the brain transmit signals at random and cause normal brains to experience a false sense of remembered familiarity.

I sometimes notice people saying the same things that I could’ve sworn I’ve heard them say that exact same thing in that exact day way and place. Also, sometimes I’ll be trying an email or cleaning the kitchen and I’ll have that same feeling; like I’ve been there before and had the exact experience. I equated it to a Deja Vu. However, when I asked my neurologist about it he said these feelings are a type of aura and/or could be a temporal lobe seizure. I’ve been keeping a diary of when this happens; as sometimes it can happen to me multiple times in a day.

Sending positive vibes your way! 🌻

This is an excellent description! From what I read here, I now think that what I experience would be called Déjà entendu. I think I am going to save this for my husband and neuro because it so closely matches what I feel.

My epilepsy is in the speech part of the brain. That part of the brain can do weird things when you have lots of seizures.
