I'm also scared of the possible tests that may be done while I'm there.
Yes I did in 1988. A right temporal lobectomy. Left me with some left sided weakness but well worth it.
I've been for that same screen but I didn't qualify. One of my friends had a lobectomy and it was pretty hectic. Think long term!
Im so sorry you have endured this procedures. I wont do that. I really havent seen a shre where this has wrked. For anyone. So sorry.
I was offered that test after my left temporal lobe surgery & it was way past when my surgery. I was seizure free for 5 years exactly & then got grand mal seizures from tremors before the surgery. I could have went for the test to just see if anything was going on & my little seizures now are not the same. I can't talk, tongue problems, & now seems like anxiety problems. The test I got a talk to about it & also letter about everything that happens for a 5 day test from Monday morning to Friday lunch time. You have the EEG are attached to your head & need to wait till Friday to wash your hair. Have you had other tests done? I was also offered to go to Montreal for piles of tests to see if they can do another surgery but I won't do it.
What other tests were done, if you dont mind me asking
