Staring spells are a common problem with Epilepsy, just a nuisance really. I'm not a Dr., but based upon my symptoms, it does not sound like a seizure to me. It could be an anxiety issue brought on by stress. See your Dr., he/she will let you know if it was a seizure or not, and if so, what direction to take to maintain.

for me it is an aura or almost seizure. i cant think and get 'space-outs'.
an aura means you are going to have a seizure so your body is getting ready for it. and it is a type of seizure. i think it is called 'absent or absentees' seizures.

Have a diary and record your seizure and time. If you think maybe you did write it as well but add "i think" "maybe" or what you felt. My diary helped my neurologist so much
