I did hear that certain AEDs can cause a type of lupus that can go away when you stop taking the med, but I’m not sure if that’s true. I’m concerned but am trying not to worry until I find out if I have it. Does anyone have both disorders? Is there a connection between epilepsy and autoimmune disorders like lupus? Just… read more

I know a family member who has lupus & is having a hard time. But doesn't have epilepsy. But there is many different ones out there you can have. I have epilepsy, allergies to almost all medications even not epileptic ones, & even hypoglusimic.
