I was in the hospital this pass week on tuesday til thursday, my neurologist had them make me do and EEG video testing after the testing he told that I dont have Epilepsy any more, that I have Chemically induced seizures. Which I feel is not true, Once your diagnosed with epilepsy that doesnt go away and I know that. Chemically Induced seizures that I know of is when the meds are lowering your seizures thats abouts it, Im so confused its crazy.

You never grow out of epilepsy & always will need to go see your neurologist. I got epilepsy at 8 yrs. old due to a scar on my brain from meningitis at 13 months old. They thought I would out grow the tremors when I was done growing in my late teens but by 17 it was still happening so I ended up having more tests & had surgery done. You can be seizure free & I know some people who by late teens stopped having seizures but my aunt even got them back when she was in menopause because your body is doing a lot again. Just know you have you husband & son there for you & everyone on here who can be there if you need to talk. Epilepsy is a very tricky illness.

Mommy20: You're right! Epilepsy may lie dormant for a while, but it always comes back.

The only thing my neurologist had told me before he left the hospital was Chemically induced seizures were not Epilepitic seizures and that they were seizures they were just lowered.
