At what point were you like, "Yea, I need to apply for disability..."?

I know some individuals apply out of necessity (there's no other choice, etc). Was there a certain incident that kick-started the process into motion?

When work caused too much stress that caused my seizures. I knew it was time.

I'd been seizure free for 10-12 years until 3 weeks ago. My life changed that day. I have a very public job involving safety of others and I no longer do this work. I have joined the ranks of disabled and will apply. I agree with Cindy, I know it's time.
