I always feel drowsy. Whenever a seizure occurs in one place, I always wake up close to an hour later somewhere else not knowing how I got there.
Example: I'm downstairs sitting on a recliner in the living room playing on the computer. A seizure happens. I blackout and lose consciousness. Then after one hour or later, I wake up upstairs in my bedroom. I wonder, 'how did I get up here? What went on during the seizure? What time is it?'
That's the way it is every time after a seizure.

I wake up with a memory gap, feeling rested and relaxed, assuming I've just woken up from a nap. Then typically someone informs me that I've had a seizure. And I respond with disbelief. I have no idea why. But my immediate reaction is always "What? No I didn't" like I'd remember or something. Then whatever happened just prior to the seizure usually comes back to me if someone was there that can help me remember what I was doing and where I was, etc. But also, I apparently "wake up" after the seizure like twenty or thirty times, with no memory of the previous waking-ups. And the only "waking up" I ever remember is the last one when I wake up for good. I've been told it goes something like, I wake up, they tell me I've had a seizure, "No I didn't," "Yes you did, I saw you," and then my eyes go creepily blank for a moment and I "wake up" again. And again and again and again. Which is weird, because I remember my eyes being closed and I open them when I wake up. But according to people who have seen that moment, my eyes weren't closed, just very vacant looking.

The last time I had my seizure 10 days ago, the only person able to figure out that I have gran Mal seizures is me, and 9 times out of ten when I have my seizures I'm alone in my house and my home attendant hadn't gotten here yet, so the only things I can tell are from what the aura feels like and then my body takes over into the seizure, sometimes I hurt myself, sometimes I break something (accident). But I wake up like 5-6 hours later.

When I have a seizure, everything goes black. Then I wake up sore, nauseated, and exhausted and sleep for anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. I usually injure myself in some inconsequential way, like cracked ribs or a broken toe or finger or an injury to my head. The thing is though, I couldn't tell you how I injured myself because I never have any memories of what happens during g the seizures.
