My husband has had this happen several times and he has also lost jobs for absurd reasons that were clearly just excuses because they disnt want tobdeal with his seizures an wanted to avoid a lawsuit for discrimination. I wish I new how to avoid this but honestly we are just learning about how to deal with these things ourselves. I can only say your not alone an hope that if nothing else it gives you some peaceof mind that your not the only one being treated unfairly when it comes to employment opportunities. Social services wont even help him or us because they consider him physically capable of working they dont even consider the real dangers of having seizures an working certain jobs. Or the fact that jobs just wont hire due to having epilepsy an find reasons tolet employees go once they find out because they dont want the liability.

Sure hope that doesn’t happen. Lost a job cause of not being able to drive and side effects of keppra. Lost another cause of memory struggles. Hopefully this one will work out, can’t afford much more. I feel like this employer cares so let’s hope!
