Right Anterior Lobectomy
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a right anterior temporal lobectomy in 1988 and did notice weakness on my left side and have walked with a limp ever since but also notice that temperatures affect me also like if I'm standing outside for a short time in the cold that when I go to walk I nave to really think about getting my left leg to move. Heat in a sauna has caused a seizure .

Only heat that affects me is the hot sauna's I take so I've had to limit the time I stay in one though being Finn and I love my sauna's I need to stay in one not so long.

I feel for you. I discovered that I had problems with exposure to heat last summer while in Florida. I have severe problems with altitudes and thought that I trouble in Ohio was related to the higher altitudes. However, it has been colder in Florida for the past few days and I find myself having increased problems with my seizures.
