Like don't remember things you should be able to remember
My memory is horrible. Sometimes I get asked simple questions about my family, ages etc., I can't even remember what order my kids were born in!! Even long turn memory is horrible, I try to stay away from being engulfed in deep conversation(I feel stupid)
Yes, and that's a side effect of having seizures and also the medication.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member im struggling with college also ...its very difficult at times
All the time. I get so confused. My Neurologist's answer "take vitamin B12" it made no difference. I had to quit college since I couldn't retain the info. ðŸ˜Sometimes I feel similar to what @anngirl2 said about conversations. At times I'm repeating myself because I forgot I already said it. 😣😒
My memory loss is getting worse. I'm 57 and have suffered many seizures over the last 25+ years. They appeared when I was 29 and diagnosed as grand mal caused by a head injury as a child. They turned nocturnal a little over 2 years ago. Much more violent. I have to write notes on taking meds. I leave sticky notes everywhere to remind me to do things. I couldn't work because of this.
