Klonopin
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been taking Klonopin two times one during the day and one at night for the last month. I take Lamotrigine 300 in the morning and 60mg of cymbalta for years for depression. I have a birthmark surrounding my left eyelid and left front forhead. Lately my left eyelid swells up everyday. I have Sturge Weber Syndrome also which causes seisures also.Thank you

@Klonopin I took Keppra with Lamictal. Klonopin I took foor just two weeks while traveling for help.....lolololol. It ended up taking away the aura(warning sign of a seizure). After I fell I stopped taking it and had a good remainder of a trip to NYC and CT.

klonopin actually was one of the best meds for me as i also suffer terrible anxiety. My doctor prescribed it to me for my hubby to give to me when i started seizing...they were the disolvable kind and really helped cause i often would have 2-3 seizures in a row. They usually helped. Made the seizure not so bad or stopped me having the second one after the first seizure.

Lamotrigine has been perfect for me and cymbalta also. I use clonozepam only when I feel an aura coming on

@Klonopin
Clonazepam and Lamectal are harsh enough on their own. Put together, they can spell trouble for some. Add Cymbslta which is relatively new and uncharted and you may have some real problems. All three meds create the same interactions. I took lamectil with klonopin for under a month and took myself off of it (lamectil). For me a terrible med that made my seizures worse.
