Hi Chris . I'm much better than I was before. It may not of made me seizure free, but it did help reduce the frequency of my seizures. I went from sever to moderate and mild seizures.
How did the surgery work for you Randy?
The WADDA test was one of the few tests , I had to do before my surgery. I had to do a psych test ( a lot of it was similar to an IQ test ) . I had to do an MRI and the GRID test
I have/had (let's hope) left mesial temporal lobe epilepsy. I started with a laser ablation and it was not successful. Now I am 5 months postop crani and so far, so good. The crani was not too bad. I was back to work full time as a physical therapist within 6 weeks after my crani. If it's given to you as an option...I wouldn't pass it by. The WADA allows them to identify an exact location as to where your seizures are occurring.
In 98' I had my left temporal lobe surgery done.
