Darryl, finally, I think the best way is NOT to concentrate too hard. Relax. And then relax again. And then play. Just by repeating chords etc your muscles will eventually get to remember.

Hi, I play a bit of guitar. Afraid there's no magic formula. What you have to do is practise and keep practising. With time you get what's known as "muscle memory". Your muscles seem to automatically remember chord shapes etc. Hope this helps

Darryl, Mate, im a singer. Totally understand the concentrating and causing seizures thing. I find that that may occur if there is a mismatch of epileptic medication. Might pay to discuss that with your neurologist. It wouldnt hurt. They are there for your well being. And on a musical note, practice makes almost perfect. I sing in front of 2000 people twice a month and I have about four songs. Even with the words up for me to read I still read them wrong. The show must go on!

I play guitar and have horrible memory. But I've always been very artistic. It's like riding a bike, once you learn guitar you'll never forget. Music actually helps my memory. Playing guitar is difficult to learn. But once you learn it's well worth it

Practice everyday . Listen to guitar strong music and the best way l found was to play and sing along with the song . everyday
