I call epilepsy a disease but I see that many ppl call it an illness and refer to it as a medical condition. But when you have a heart condition like afib it isn't revered to an illness it's revered to as heart disease. I myself believe that with epilepsy your brain is diseased and that's why it's not working properly. I don't want to offend anyone but I never know what to put.

I just call it epilepsy and don't worry about classifying it any other way. Most people know about epilepsy in general so further clarification isn't needed.

It should be a big deal here. I myself may not care when people use the word illness, but it doesn't offend me. When I think of that word , I think of someone who is very sick and maybe in hospital or a Hospice.
