Hair Loss With Medications.
I have been on Depakote ER for some time. And just recently found out that the Depakote that I have been taking for my Epilepsy is what could be causing my hair loss. Has anyone else had this problem?
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I think depakote is not right for everyone and I am one of those people. It affected my liver. My hair was falling out, but I was also suffering from alopecia airiata (spelling) so I am not sure how much hair loss I had from either. Lost about a 4 inch circle on the back of my head. Hard to cover because I have very short hair.
No, I think everyone is different and it may effect a individual different, I'm ok with my hair and health, my opinion
Crazypoet DO NOT TAKE DEPAKOTE!!!!!! I Lost all my long hair bc of that devil drug plus I had bad nose bleeds plus bruising on my body plus a 45 lb weight gain!!! I had to get off of it!!! There is already a class action lawsuit against this drug btw!!!!!! If you’re on it I strongly urge you to get off it. It’s an extremely dangerous drug.
