Possibly to keep your blood level from dropping during the day to keep some better all day coverage? Or to keep side effects lower just some guesses
All of us are certainly different. My experience with Vimpat is serious vertigo. I dropped from 8 pills/day (four morning and four evening) to one in the morning and one in the evening. I was literally falling against the walls and was terribly naucious. I now cut the morning pill in 1/2 to spread-out the dose for the same reason and everything seems to be fine. Maintaining an appropriate dose is what it's all about for me. Regarding Lamictol - VERY expensive. The only reason it works for me is that I'm on such a large arsenol of drugs that my high deductible is met in about 8 months. I'd be paying the same amount per year regardless of the drugs I take.
Well Gmindyg1,,
In the morning Vimpat is 200mg and Levetiracetam 2500 mg 2 1/12. In the afternoon Vimpat 200 mg. In the evening, Vimpat is 200 mg, Levetiracetam 2500 2 1/2mg and Zonisamide 100 mg (5).
From what I understand about Vimt the max dose is 800. How much are you taking
