Schererville, IN

My husband and I both have epilepsy. I also have anxiety and depression. We live in Lake County, IN. We are trying to figure out how to get a medical alert puppy. How do we go about this; and where can we find them; and is there any foundation that would be willing to pay for the expenses since neither of us are employed?

My friend has seizures. He wanted and has an epilepsy dog. He searched online for epilepsy puppy farms for the closest. He contacted them asking if they had or would have a puppy/dog,how long
it would take to train and how much it would cost. They told him they had a puppy and could train in I think 9months. It would cost,.I cant remember exactly the price but I think it was in thousands. We set up a Go Fund Me on line He got great results. His dog now attends our meetings with him and he tells us how much his dog has changed his life.Sorry I cant be more specific but I would start online for puppy farms-unless I knew someone who has one already. .The EpilepsyFoundation might be able to give you info about farms and financing.
