Hello, Everyone
I hope everyone is having a tolerable, seizure free day
I have a question. Has anyone had any experience in using CBD? My kids are recommending it to me and I've in turn tried to do lots of research on it today. Not cannibus, but the hemp oil. I've not bothered looking into all the sites, mostly because of course...sites that sell it are going to say nothing but great things.
I'm wondering if anyone knows about its effectiveness in ADULTS. I'm having issues where I'm on my… read more
hemp oil is one the best medicine i take
To be honest I haven't tried the oil, but I've tried medical marijuana and marijuana that people grow themselves and let me tell you it works wonders. I was seizure free smoking the real stuff and when I pregnant I quit and seizures returned.
Depends on the person. But for many it helps a lot and is great! Give it a try, why not. If it doesn't help then seek perhaps something else. But for many they do get great results. Best Seizure Free 2017 Wishes!
Yes I've used CBD and found it works better than the pharmaceutical medications to stop seizures and it doesn't have any side affects that I am aware of. I did do some research on it before using it. I wanted to see for myself how it affects the brain and now I know what it does. I've tried to explain it to people before but I can see how confusing it is for them even when I dumb it down it is still very confusing. When people don't understand how the brain functions they can never understand what I'm telling them, it's like speaking to them in some foreign language.
CBD is non-psychoactive so you will not get high using it. There will be a small amount of THC which is psychoactive but not enough to make you high using it. To see if it works for you, you will have to experiment with it by using it with your medication just in case it doesn't work for you. I have heard it doesn't work for some people, but I'm not sure what type of seizures they have. I think it will control most types of seizures, but I'm not sure what type it won't work on. The cannabinoids in CBD will affect your endocannabinoid system and your immune system. There are specific receptors in those two systems that are affected by CBD. There are billions of those specific receptors. That is as simple as I can get to explain it, if I go much further you will be wondering the heck I'm talking about. Hope that helps.
Check with your state and see if they are participating in the Medical Marijuana program. If so, get your doctor to certify you for a state-issued ID, locate where the medical marijuana is sold and go from there. Best!
