I don't think they reduce seizures, but from what I understand folic acid helps the nervous sytem run more smoothly. It also effects the health of the spine. Every neurologist I've seen has encouraged me to take it.

I've been taking folic acid and b vitamins because some of the meds effect your levels of these, and also they are meant to have good effects on your nervous system.
