Eat healthy, get 8-10 hours of sleep a night, no alcohol, take medication daily and at the same time every day, and take care of my mental health(reduce stress, coping skills, and enjoy what have). Not everyone can have good results from doing those things. Why a person has epilepsy can determine how well it can be controlled regardless of avoiding stressors. In general avoid the trypical triggers like I do and it can at the very least help. Good luck.

May GOD send his Angels to watch over thee
May the LORD's healing hands reach down and
touch your back and lift you up to your feet again
Praise HIS Holey Name for HE is merciful and
HIS SON id the great healer
I pray in JESUS's Holy Name Amen

@ the age of 38 I had my VNS replaced. @ that time the surgeon who replaced my VNS, The tech who programed it, & a social worker w/ my local epilepsy center recommended the same Dr to me. So I took a chance & saw him. He did my first EEG w/ him & 6 months later he asked me if I wanted surgery. I said yes. Family thought I was crazy but I did it. As of last month I am 6 yrs seizure free
