Just intrigued, what did you guys experience when you were having an aura or simple partial seizure? Smells, sounds, hallucinations etc.?

When I have an aura ,I lose all sense of sound.....things seem to slow down...when this happens I don't panic...I am at peace knowing what might happen next...get on the floor and wait it out....I can't answer why I feel this way..accepting the possibility of a seizure ....

My auras to my grand mals used to be odd smells and using my palms trying to find something I need to find or lost. Imaginary stolen object. Now my auras are minor panic attacks. I'd get a flush and if I catch it, I can breathe my way through it. My complex partials, I don't get auras. Actually, these are my auras to the gran mals I used to have. Now my seizures are spontaneous. My auras are my seizures.

Sounds like we're all in the same boat!
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member yours is almost identical to mine, the smell of coffee makes me feel really nauseous. Also a picture my mum and dad had in their living room for as long as I can remember used to trigger mine, they have taken it down now though 😊
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I couldn't speak either, my colleagues, especially my manager and one of the directors, used to think I was being really rude and ignoring them, even put a few complaints in, that was before I was diagnosed so they're really understanding now
