Well Shelly i bought one watch, even i paid for it,they told me it can take a long time you have one.It will be useful while i live on my own, greetings from your friend in Belgium.
The same thing happened to me. Since the Apple Watch was only $50 more, I went with it instead. Check out the EpiWatch app to see the features.
It tracks what it believes to be seizures and texts your designated person letting them know. It also tracks your heart rate, has medication reminders, and has luminosity style tests to get your average response time for compare it to post seizure brain competency. It also tracks your sleep regulation, heart rate, blood pressure, nutrition information, Etc...
Oh, and it reads your text messages also haha!
I was trying to paste a screenshot of the dashboard here but this app doesn't seem to like that.
There are other apps for the Apple Watch for seizure alerts as well, but this app doesn't seem to like that idea...
I ordered an Embrace in February 2015. I'am still waiting to receive my watch. I was told I would have my watch by September 2016. Let's hope our watches are sent this year. Good luck! 😊
I received a free Embrace by Empatica through the Northern California Epilepsy Foundation in February 2015. I am still waiting on delivery of my watch. The site estimates September 2016. I have not heard of anyone that actually has a watch.
Waiting patiently

Prefer my Apple Watch. John Hopkins university has an app call eppi watch that has about the same functionality. Texts someone when you seem to have a seizure and all. Plus- I'm all about giving research more data!
