I believe your getting Flashing or floating Visions. I get them a lot , whether my eyes are opened or closed. I've seen many colors. I would see from flashlight color , to all colors of the rainbow and even transparent floating visions. A lot of times , I noticed if a bright light hit me in the eyes , that's when I have those flashing or floating visions.
