I've been on trileptal for years. I've always been told it can mess with sodium levels. I have to get my sodium checked periodically. Thank goodness I have never had sodium issues. Your doctor can help you manage it. This is a huge side effect of trileptal. I can't believe you can't get it resolved! Good luck!
