Drivers License For EMT?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Sorry this doesn't have much to do with epilepsy but I was wondering if anyone knew if you have to have a drivers license to become a EMT in Florida. Either as a EMT for the fire department or hospital. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to be a EMT and i don't know if they'll accept me for a job. They said I can take the class but I'm not sure if I'll get a job. And again any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

yes, you would have to have a license. I wanted to be back in the OR Tech like I once did a long time ago and couldn't with epilepsy or unable to drive.
