Does Anyone Find Your Seizure's Starts Playing Up At Night.
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I find I have more absence seizure's at night then in the day. Would this be down to your body shutting down ready for sleep? Does anyone get this. Do get seizure's in the day but always starts to play up at night.

Same here. I have most auras and absence seizures in the evening (say, while watching tv w my husband) or around 11-12 in the morning. Especially around my period or after a few extra long days at work. Im also photosensitive and metabolic sensitive. Thankfully for me its kind of like migraines, where you can be ok until at least three triggers at the same time have a cumulative effect.

I will mostly only have seizures at night. Because im very energetic in the day. So as my body relaxes thats the only time it usually occurs

It happen to me a lot. I would have my kids in bed and my wife and I would be watching tv , and would notice me having a spell or two. Although when I think about it, I'm not only watching tv. I'm sort of multi tasking. I would be watching tv, playing on my IPad, and if it's midnight, I maybe listening to a radio talk show too in one ear. That maybe causing a type stress. So it's causing me to seizure.
