It's great to hear that many people recognize their pets do sense when they are getting ready to have a seizure. I have a cat, my daughters cat, and when I get fidgety she knows what is getting ready to take place. I had another cat that would lay across me when I would lay down and this was when I was unaware of the seizure getting ready to happen. When I would have the seizure and come out of it the cat was right there by my side or on my chest. Thank God for our little loved ones!!

Of course they help. I mean the seizures will always be there regardless of wether you have an animal or not. But they are a stress reliever and a cuddlebug if you have a dog. And personally for me I would be miserable without my dog. Hes my friend. I can talk to him and he understands me and most of all listens and shows affection. You dont or cant get that very much from a husband.Sorry but its true. And if it sounds mental or weird or crazy that I talk to my dog well thats your problem. But for me it relieves stress. My dog is my companion animal

Absolutely! Pets are know to lower blood pressure and have a calming effect. Anything that can help with lower stress can only be positive. Pet can sense many things in humans and be helpful to warn us of impending danger.
