Jonathan C. Edwards, M.D., MBA

Dr. Jonathan C. Edwards is a professor and the chairman of neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He completed his neurology residency at the University of Maryland and fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic. After nine years on the faculty at the University of Michigan — the last two of which he served as president of the Michigan Neurological Association — Dr. Edwards joined the MUSC faculty in 2007 as director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. Dr. Edwards is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. He recently served as president of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Dr. Edwards has won numerous awards for teaching, research, and patient advocacy.
