I have a tremendous fear of flying and can't take things like Valium for stress, or a couple bevvies like I used to. Most of my seizures are triggered by stress. Should I fly? It's a hell of a long way up to seize..and I live on an island..

Definitely take Calcium Citrate! My Rheumatologist Doctor told Me when I saw Him 2 weeks ago begin taking it for the bones.

I am almost 6 years seizure free. At my annual neurology appointment yesterday, my neurologist suggest that since I have been taking Dilantin for almost 30 years, that I should consider reducing the amount that I take until I am completely off Dilantin. I am and would still take Keppra. I am very nervous about getting off Dilantin and am wondering if anyone has had ill effects from taking Dilantin over a long period of time. Low pitched, monotonous noises such as road noise in a car, air conditioning, computer fan noise, vacuum, etc. bring on both auras and grand mals for me.
I often feel the aura I get before a seizure but then I don't have a seizure. When this happens I take Valium and it helps and most of the time I don't have a seizure. I'm just kind of curious as to whether this happens to anyone else.
