I live with focal aware brainstem seizures that frequently cause hypoapnea and central apnea. For five years I've been trying to get help with sensory-based central apnea because it doesn't show on sleep tests conducted in sensory-deprived environments.

Hello all. On the off chance that someone here is fitted with the Livanova 106 vagus nerve stimulator, would they care to share the number of times the autostim feature is activated and their duty cycle/settings?

My adult son has a long history of epilepsy but recently his generalized seizures have become more intense and frequent. He now experiences tonic & atonic both causing him to fall. It is so heart wrenching to see him suffer this way. We are currently trying new medication & looking into the keto diet & a corpus callosotomy is our last option.
