Was binge watching Lucifer and all the episodes where he cuts off his wings made me think, epilepsy is just like those wings, won't go away with a fight and if you don't do what's right for your brain and body shit might just get a little demonically evil. Then saw the episode where he gets devil wings and that made me wish I had some wings like that, they looked cool 😂
I have primary generalized seizures plus some temporal lobe activity. I started lamictal a few weeks ago, I have a gene that makes me more likely to have lamotrigine side effects and have always been highly sensitive to many kinds of drugs. Is anyone taking the drug Brivact? The drug is very expensive. The cost is a little over 3,000 monthly. If anyone out there can experience with Brivact I would like to get their input.
They had me on Saphris and Zxyprexa and it solved my grandmal Seizures. Are there better meds now? I have been off meds for awhile and wanted to know if these meds helped anyone else?
Already on 4 medications with a VNS implant and seem to have worsening seizures anyway plus significant side effect to the medications.
Recent testing reverified generalized epilepsy with no specific focal points to target. This is why my physician mentioned this.
