I had an extended eeg the first part of September, I was there for 8 days, I had a seizure on the last night 3 am in the morning, the Dr. asked me and my wife if we wanted to see the clip of having the seizure and I said yes. I was sleeping very nice alone in my room. Then I started to kick my legs. The my whole body went unreal movement.the room was filled with Dr. and nurses to see me. When I woke up a few hours later. My wife was in the room and I didn’t know where I was at and what happened. My told me that I was in the UofM hospital. After that I was very confused and tired.
Today I am having another EEG test in my own home for a week, I will have cameras set up in my house. This is my Third EEG. I am on medication and they just changed them.
My prayers will be with you that the Lord will give the Dr the wisdom to figure out what is causing the problem.

What you're describing β€” pins and needles followed by passing out when triggered by intense or aggressive thoughts β€” is something worth taking seriously and discussing with a neurologist as soon as possible.

What you're experiencing could relate to a few things connected to epilepsy:

- Focal aware seizures (auras) β€” These can cause strange sensations like pins and needles and may be the beginning of a larger seizure
- Focal impaired awareness seizures β€” These can cause a loss of consciousness or awareness
- Functional seizures β€” These are seizure-like episodes that can be triggered by intense emotional or psychological distress, including distressing thoughts It's important to note that functional seizures are very real β€” they are not "made up" β€” but they are triggered differently than epileptic seizures and are treated differently too.

A neurologist can use tests like an EEG or brain imaging to help figure out exactly what's happening in your brain during these episodes.

Please don't wait on this β€” passing out is always a safety concern. Reach out to your doctor and describe exactly what you told us here, including the emotional trigger.
