Don’t know if I’m having the the same issue . But after I wake up in any position, I have to wait for awhile before I stand up. I maybe awake but my body isn’t ready to get up and walk. Once I feel my body is ready, I’ll finally stand up and start walking.

Hallo Quinn .. this be William .. Randy and others on here all be right .. and what your neurologist say to you be pure BS .. the part about getting older .. I be suffering same issues since losing my leg to nerve damage from brittle diabetes and AEDs. and he straight with me and say it be nerve damage from the surgery .. the suggestions all give be good ones .. what Randy say about listen to your body before getting up is one I do ., as the brain is sending the signal to move ., yet the nerve damage slow the message ., as you wait a bit ., eventualky it gets there and you can move .. there may be a surgery they can do to help you .. and the suggestion to see an orthopedist be a good one ., Jen and me think you be needing a different neurologist ., one who tries to feed you BS about getting older needs to be shown the door ., no matter what kind of doctor., they not help if they not listen to you .. so ., how I know this?.. I lose my leg at 16 .. so my symptoms NOT be from growing old .. Jen and me try 3 neurologists before we find the one we got now .. and he listen ., order tests ., and he find answer ., when they amputate my leg ., they be leaving a wee bit of nerve .. they suppose to close off all those snd miss one ., and it grow into what look like a tiny ball of yarn .. this be a neuroma .. at the scar .. so ., a minor surgery under nerve block anesthesia to take it out ., and my symptoms be gone ., so .. do not give up ever Quinn .. find a neurologist who will listen to you ., as your symptoms be serious and need to be dealt with ., maybe you not have neuroma like me ., but you got something causing your troubles .. and you deserve to be heard and helped.. we send you much love and many hugs and prayers ., William and Jen💜💙🤗🤗🕊🕊
