What happens if you experience chills and whole-body tingling for hours after an aura?

The symptoms you're describing sound like they could be part of the postictal phase, which is the recovery period after a seizure. This phase can last anywhere from minutes to several days, depending on the type and intensity of the seizure.

During the postictal phase, people commonly experience:
* Weakness, dizziness, or lightheadedness
* Extreme tiredness
* Confusion
* Headache or other pain
* Nausea

While tingling and numbness are mentioned as possible aura symptoms before a seizure, experiencing prolonged chills and whole-body tingling for hours afterward could be your body's unique way of recovering from the seizure activity.

Since everyone's experience with seizures is different, it's important to track these symptoms and discuss them with your neurologist. They can help determine if this is a normal part of your postictal phase or if it needs further evaluation. Keeping a seizure diary that includes what happens before, during, and after your seizures can be really helpful for your doctor.

It’s a type of seizure, so ur body is reacting to it. U might not feel the same way as u do during a normal seizure for urself; but in my opinion it sounds like ur body recovering from the seizure
