Members responded to the question about sleeping in longer on some days by sharing how their epilepsy and related conditions shape their sleep in very different ways. Several members described unpredictable patterns, including insomnia, sleeping longer after heavy seizure days, waking to take medications at set times, and relying on naps to recover. A recurring theme was listening to your body, with many finding that rest is not just a preference but a real part of managing their condition, and one member shared a touching story of nightly gratitude and the love of a devoted caregiver.

I don't have trouble with getting to sleep, if I ever do I have a few relaxation cd's I listen to on a personal cd player to get to sleep.

I set my alarm for the same time, rarely do I sleep though it. I never really get a good nights rest. I’m always tossing and turning. But I like when I get a good nights sleep.
