Not, I sometimes do depends, but this last cold I had gotten is running it's course without meds, it's about gone, but at it's tail end with, a little bit of, I don't get them like before back in the past, but I take into consideration what I have to work with and what I have to deal with it, I use my own intuition and from what I have learned in the past by others and their support and advice outside of the medical system and with it, I don't know it all, but I will resort to going to the… read more

Focus on your immune system - year round. A strong immune system will be able to fight off any flu/cold/bug, etc. In this day and age we cannot get the proper nutrition our body needs by the food we eat. The soils are depleted and there are chemicals sprayed on the plants and the animals are injected with all types of garbage. Buying organic foods is expensive, but worth it. Also, proper supplementation. A multi-vitamin is not bad, but there is no way we can get what we need in supplements by taking two pills a day. Start out slow, do a lot of research. Most people are deficient in vitamin D3. D3 is a good place to start as it's a powerful nutrient and antioxidant that provides critical support for bone and dental health, promotes immune, cardiovascular and respiratory health, aids in protecting muscle function and healthy mental function, supports healthy cell growth, among many other roles. And.....most people walking on this planet are dehydrated. We need approximately 1 gallon of water a day.

Always take Vitamin C tablets especially during the colder months and EXTRA when you are unwell - YOU CAN'T TAKE TOO MANY AS THEY WILL PASS THROUGH YOUR URINARY SYSTEM EVENTUALLY!!!
Also, drink lots of fluids, preferably water if possible.

Fully agree that eating healthy has a lot to do with keeping healthy. It isn't always the end answer but that is one answer of a group that can help keep the system moving along in a healthy way. I eat healthy and take specific vitamin supplements to benefit my health and mental wellness; I have gotten the okay to use these supplements with my medications daily. I stay hydrated daily, continue exercising to keep myself having benefit from activity.
