But what about the one we have and do you seem it's not being shown as the other condition than we have? And it was say to be included with the other conditions on TV commercials, would that give the general public a little bit of information about the situation and condition we have in our lives, nothing negative or against anyone as if was to happen, but I think it' would be ok with me and a start if that was to take place with, it' would be a step forward to people who that may not know about… read more

Commercials on epilepsy would be great. It would be a great way to spend awareness and educate others about our condition.

Mary, just a few months ago, a celebrity finally admitted that her daughter has epilepsy and that was why she wasn’t at a certain event. But it was glossed over by her celebrity status. Thet asked her how old her daughter was when she was diagnosed, and her age now. That was it. Even when she tried to explain epilepsy to the reporters, they simply yelled different questions at her that weren’t epilepsy related. She answered them and kept trying to get them back onto the epilepsy factor, but she kept getting cut off or plain out ignored. As she was walking away u could hear her saying “why did I even bother talking about my daughter when they don’t care. And that was it.
And yes, I’m aware of how many different diseases say that their color is also purple. Like u said, it’s sad. Even when celebrities or ppl who have the platform to talk about epilepsy, they don’t use it. It’s easier to find out if their dog has seizures than it is if their family members have seizures. It’s ridiculous!

There are few if any. It seems like the only time it is mentioned is if a famous person has it! If there is/was an ad, unless the people or person in the add actually has or had Epilepsy or know someone who has or had it, they DON'T know what we actually go through living with Epilepsy!
