Sure does! Take that time to recoup.
This generally what is meant to happen if you are on meds. Even if you are controlled and seizure does slip though the meds are made to dull everything down in a way so the seizure isn't as bad as it normally would be. The same thing happends with me if I have one.
I just feel we need to live with our epilepsy the best we can. Some days it is not a bother, but then you have a seizure from nowhere and it all starts back over again.
Both my brothers outgrew theirs, but theirs were hereditary and mine isn’t. My oldest brother was medically discharged from the military because of his. They were going through the sleep deprivation phase of their training and he had one; so they said he couldn’t be in the military anymore. And that’s after receiving medals and achievements that most don’t get. But one little seizure and it was see ya- wouldn’t want to be ya. So he became a RCMP member and stayed with that until he had too many injuries while apprehending ppl. But he hasn’t had any signs or seizures in over 30 years! And my younger brother hasn’t had one in almost as long. I almost wish I’d outgrown mine as well but that’s life
I wish it would. I have heard of some people who had Epilepsy and they slowly outgrew it. So now they are not considered an Epileptic. I wish that would happen to me but I have had it for so long it will never happen.
