Every doctor is different. If you see an epileptologist instead of a regular neurologist, you’re going to have your best shot.

My pediatrician placed me on Dilantin as I was only 1 year old going on 2 at the time.

I use to take a total of 4 different medications just to control my siezures keppra, lamictal, phenytion, and lacosimide as well as the VNS device (vagus nerve simulator).
