Margery's got it about right. I have had seizures that I got over quickly and went on with all of my plans for a very busy day with just a short nap... and also seizures that took several days of extra sleep and extra pain and headaches to recuperate.
We are all different and frequently the seizures themselves are different although we do get used to our "usual" patterns and triggers. It's the best you can do.
Know yourself!
Relax, chill, if someone doesn't know in your house or nearby, ask em to chill with ya in fear of another one. My ways of chilling or meditation, music, or just watching TV on the couch or my phone
Either you rest( tv, read, music to relax)after a seizure or if you can still do things then do them.
Relax for a few minutes before getting up to do anything..
Check to see if your meds were taken.
Figure out what may of triggered your seizure or it being an out of the blue type seizure for no reason.
Jose,
It depends. What kind of seizure was it? How long did it last? Was it severe? In my case often being able to urinate would lessen or stop one from happening. The others could be very bad and lengthy. Lack of enough good sleep, not eating well or enough and being overheated are some triggers. The bad ones were bad enough that I could sleep 6 hours to recover.
