I took it once upon a time, do not remember any side effects. By my early 20s, i had taken all known AEDs, dosages, and combinations, without enough control. I had a Temporal Lobectomy. It helped by stopping Echo Seizures on the left side. It would have damaged my Dominant side.

Thank you for your response's. I recently started taking Depakote and is changing my sleeping habits, Iā€™m having issues falling asleep and wake up in the middle of the night like Iā€™m ready to party.

I think that is dif per person, I was on that med also, I really didn't notice much of a difference, but a few times of taking naps now and then, but I have another med also of levetiracetam, they have side effects too, plus I consider my condition and age etc, that also plays a factor in my the condition I have, my opinion here
