I've had 2. Technically 3 surgeries. 1 was to map WHERE to do surgery. The 2nd surgery was a laser ablation. It worked for maybe 6 months to a year. My 3rd surgery was a brain resection I believe they call it. And so far I am 98% seizure free while I am awake but I still have break thru seizure while I am sleeping. Which sucks but I rather have seizures in my sleep than when im.awake so I don't have to deal with the "pain" seizures cause me.

I’ve had brain surgery , hoping to be seizure free. My Dr. Told me ahead of time , that there is no guarantee , that it will make me seizure free. It did help stopping my severe seizure. But I still had ( still have ) mild and moderate seizures.

I’ve had a surgical EEG, Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) and now a Neurostimulator (RNS). I still have seizures though.
