Experience With Using Lamictal With Either Zonisamide Or Clobazam???
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been on Lamictal (800mg) since diagnosed 20 years ago which controlled seizures well until 3 years ago (have several Gran Mal per year). Dr added Keppra (3,000 mg) but hasn't seemed to be effective and causes rage issues. She is now suggesting Clobazam or Zonisamide. Anyone with a combo of either with Lamictal?

Keppra(The Rage) will give you anger, anxiety and depression. Lamictal will give you a rash, dizziness, headaches and loss of balance. Zonisamide will give you headaches and dizziness and other side effects. Clobazam will give you problems with coordination and constipation. I have taken each medication but not at the same time. I had a combo of Lamictal and Keppra and received headaches all day.
